My sister, Theresa, lives in Brent House.  Residential buildings on this old campus have seen much change over the years, but the core centralized services remains the same.  I support these services thru participation in the Parents Hospital Association of Eldridge, the Voice of the Retarded, and the California Association for the Retarded.  Our dues and donations provide funds for publishing the Eldridge Gazette and seed money for annual fund raising events.  My sister is very active in all performing arts events, Holloween, Easter and Christmas decorations and performances.  Theresa has a part-time job as well in a nursery, where her detailed artistic talents are not wasted.  There is rhythm and dependable patterns that benefit both residents and staff that, I believe, is irreplaceable.

I hope to continue being engaged with the core mission of serving the needs of the Sonoma Developmental Center residents,  a group that has been part of my life for so many years.
